The Primary Care Dermatology Society |
|
The Primary Care Dermatology Society (PCDS) is the leading primary care society for GPs with an enthusiasm for dermatology and skin surgery. It reflects the growing importance that GPs are attaching to these specialities. The society has grown in size and influence and now exceeds 1400 members across UK and Ireland. In 2012 the PCDS will host 26 conferences covering a wide range of dermatology topics, dermoscopy and skin surgery. As part of this conference programme are our Essential Dermatology (ED) days, which cover common dermatology conditions found in every day General Practice. As well as education the PCDS provides a primary and intermediate care voice in all aspects of dermatology. We are affiliated to the British Association of Dermatologists and the Royal College of General Practitioners. This website provides PCDS members, affiliated organisations and interested members of the public with a rich information resource specific to the fields of dermatology and skin surgery.
